Summer Reading Program IMAGINE Week 9

It's our last week of the Summer Reading Program and we're going to make one of my favorite things! A fairy house or gnome home can be as simple or as complex as you wish. For mine I used a paper towel cardboard tube that I cut down a little bit, glued some paper "bark" and dried moss onto it, and created a roof with some card stock. I found a little piece of some faux greenery to add to the top. If I put this outside it would not hold up to the elements! This is an inside house, so keep that in mind. Summer Reading Program IMAGINE Week 8

Did you know that dragonflies are the fastest flying insect? They can fly over 18 miles per hour! The dragonflies that we're making today definitely won't fly that fast, but they will be just as pretty!! Regular white glue will work just fine for these, just make sure to give it time to dry completely! Click here for the PDF.
