Summer Reading Program IMAGINE Week 9

It's our last week of the Summer Reading Program and we're going to make one of my favorite things! A fairy house or gnome home can be as simple or as complex as you wish. For mine I used a paper towel cardboard tube that I cut down a little bit, glued some paper "bark" and dried moss onto it, and created a roof with some card stock. I found a little piece of some faux greenery to add to the top. If I put this outside it would not hold up to the elements! This is an inside house, so keep that in mind. Tissue Paper Painting

January's Take It & Make It craft kit was for tissue paper painting. We used a glossy paper designed for finger painting and small squares of bleeding tissue paper. The bleeding part is important because you want the colors to run. Find the instructions here .
